The Peterson Elementary PTA Board is comprised of elected volunteers who want to use their personal and professional expertise to help further the PTA through the various responsibilities each position requires.

Why I PTA

I've stood on the sidelines and watched the OAP PTA work their magic the past few years and I wanted to be a part of the magic. 

As a parent, I appreciate the many programs and events the PTA puts on. 

I wanted to give back to a school who has given my son a place to belong and the PTA plays a huge role in that.

Peterson Elementary PTA Documents

To maintain good standing with Texas PTA, all local PTAs must update or amend their Bylaws and Standing Rules with Texas PTA at least once every three years. To request a copy of the Bylaws, Standing Rules, or Meeting Minutes, please send an email to oapetersonpta@gmail.com

Bylaws - effective 10/28/2022

Bylaws outline how our PTA functions, define its primary characteristics, and include all the governing details considered important to the rights and responsibilities of members. 

Standing Rules - effective 4/8/2020

Standing Rules contain details about the day-to-day operations of our PTA.
